Work is once again progressing well on my book, Both Sides of the Story.
Inspired by events on my own life’s journey and focusing on some of the amazing people I have met along the way, this passionate and spiritual account covers many different topics and explores the complexity, highs and lows of the human psyche.
Topics including love, spirituality, mental health, empathy, crime, the media, politics, humour, personal loss, travel, sport, nostalgia, and even witchcraft, are all covered in this first-person account.
The many characters and individuals I have met are the real stars, and the book also seeks to offer support and encouragement to others in areas which will become very apparent once the volume is published.
For years, family, friends, associates and (most tellingly) colleagues had encouraged me to put some of the many experiences I have had, and associated stories, into print.
It was something I’d only toyed with until dramatic events on a distant island several years ago changed my life forever.
When you hit rock bottom and the only option left is to fight, you discover what you’re truly made of. You also find out plenty about the people around you.
